Having some experience with charter commercial boats, I wanted a vessel of a better quality in terms of sailing qualities as well as guality of details, and that was the reason why I had purchased this particular boat. As its maker, Mr Corraza claims: There is a difference between a sailing boat and a boat with a sail. Sailing qualities are really good. The boat is well-sailed, it has very good rate of climb and excellent steering wheel response. This is due to the fact that there is one central steering wheel with short transmission line and the shape of the boat, also it is due to the stiffness of structure, the mast being anchored in a carbon grate on the bottom of the boat connected to the keel.
Moreover the boat looks nice from inside and outside, an Italian design can’t be denied. Another positive thing is that the interior is very spacious and logically arranged given the size of the boat. Thanks to the construction arrangement, bulkheads being an integral part of the hull, it is very light, which further enhances its speed and dexterity. This can be supported by the fact that it has the IRC certification, issued by the Italian Boat Federation, where the TCC is 1.033.
The equipment of the boat is more than standard. The boat is ready for an ocean voyage. The boat has an Eberspaecher heating system, an additional drinking water tank, Watermaker Katadyn, a 220V inverter, a 300W Watt & Sea generator, Solbian solar panels, a perfect onboard software B&G with active AIS, Furuno radar.
Furthermore, besides standard sails, it is also equipped with a genoa no. 4, storm jib for difficult conditions and two gennakers. The boat's accessories include a Plastimo liferaft for 6 people.
The boat was used to cross the Atlantic in the ARC Rally. It traveled from the production site - Chioggia to Venice - to the Canary Islands, then to the Caribbean and back via Bermuda, the Azores to Portugal and then back to Croatia, where it has been anchored since autumn 2017. There were also its photos taken. The boat was given a careful service in autumn 2017, including new antifouling and other necessary operations. The boat has sailed total of about 12,000 NM, the Volvo Penta engine has a milleage of about 950 hrs. The boat has been used solely by the owner.
There was no structural damage, either to the rig or the hull. There have been no difficult or extreme conditions at sea during its voyages.
Repairs performed on the boat: as for the rig, only furler was repaired (winding rope broken), and two main sail Ronstan sliders were replaced. Both genoas and one of the genakers have undergone minor repairs at the sailmaker. Further, the servo autopilot was replaced in the warranty.
The reason for the sale is the one-time use of the boat in the ARC Rally. The owner prefers a quick deal, hence it is keenly priced. The condition of the boat is excellent and it is ready to sail.
